Radiology Director
Full-Time
Oversee all essential functions of the Radiology Department, including the direct
supervision of radiology technological and clerical support staff. Maintain
cognizance between Health Center Administration and Radiology Department systems.
High school graduate or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of formal
radiologic technology training in an AMA- approved school. Registered by
the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART). Hawaii licensed
required. Certificate and Management training required for employment.
Licensed Clinical
Social Worker
Full-Time
This position is expected to provide counseling
(individual and group) and case management services to clients in treatment at
Malama Recovery Services and in Behavioral Health.
Requirements: 1. Master’s degree in social work from an accredited social
work program and current social work license (LCSW) required.
2. One year experience providing substance abuse counseling, screening,
assessment, and intake. CSAC preferred but not required.
3. Experience and competency in counseling skills and in substance abuse.
4. Direct service experience with the target population, including patient
care and follow-up, psychosocial counseling and case management.

Perinatal / Baby SAFE
Case Manager
Full-Time
This position is responsible for providing
case management services in collaboration with the Health Center's providers to
pregnant women up to and through the postpartum exam and the establishment
of well baby care for the infant, and to actively participate in special
activities of the Department. It is expected to work within the program
directives of the funding sources, within the philosophical framework set
by the Board of Directors, and within the existing network of community
services providers and natural helpers.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in a health / human services field from an accredited
college required. Three years of knowledge and experience in the
community.
2. One year experience screening and/or assessing substance abuse,
CSAC preferred.
3. BLS/CPR certification.
4. Experience and competency in counseling skills and in community
outreach work.
5. Direct service experience with the target population, including patient
care and follow-up, psychosocial counseling and case management.
6. A current Hawaii State Drivers License and daily access to an automobile
are required.
Dental Office Manager
Full-Time
Plans and oversees all administrative and
clinical support for a multi-provider office. Performs tasks which
require advanced skills in four handed dentistry, personnel management,
dental operations, and fiscal planning.

SUPPORT PERSONNEL

Web / Database
Programmer
Full-Time
Design, create, and maintain web-based
applications, including configuration and maintenance of existing systems. Analyze and document user requirements, including procedures, workflow,
and end-user issues, and translate them into functional specifications.
May analyze and/or recommend commercially available software and hardware
solutions.
Education/Experience:
1. Bachelor’s degree (computer science or engineering preferred) or
equivalent education and experience.
2. ASP.NET, VC.NET, MS SQL Server, relational database, HTML, JavaScript /
ECMA Script, DOM, Crystal Reports, IIS, Macromedia Flash, familiarity
with Windows operating systems.
3. Ability to work comfortably and effectively within a distributed
development team environment; self-motivated and goal oriented;
good written and verbal skills.
4. Desired: Experience with n-tier / enterprise web-based application
development / implementation, strong understanding of object-oriented
programming, experience with MS Visual Studio or Visual Web Developer,
understandings of security and encryption standards.

EDUCATION DEPARTMENT PERSONNEL

Education Specialist I
Full-Time
The position requires a high school degree or
equivalent and 2 years experience working in the community; or a CHW certificate or an
AA/AS degree in a health or human service field and one year experience; or a Bachelors
degree in the social sciences.
a. Recruitment: Identify qualified individuals for recruitment to the Wai`anae Health
Academy and assist them in accessing services. Responsible to provide student support
that focuses on access to educational opportunities, including recruitment and financial
aid resources, academic assessment, skills assessment and remediation components. Assist
in coordinating with the local high schools and community based teen/youth programs to
identify and recruit youth participants to the WHA.
b. Student Support: Provide intensive, targeted, case management support to participants,
ensuring completion of applications, and other identified case management needs. Provide
potential and actual WHA students with individualized case management focused on
educational sustainability and career assessment to participants and provide linkage to
appropriate resources.
c. Responsible for the oversight of the training stipend and reciprocity (Pana`i Like)
program components.

Education Specialist III
Full-Time
The position requires a Bachelors degree
in health or human services or equivalent and three years experience working in a
community or educational setting, or a Master’s degree in Social Work, Public Health,
or educational counseling and one year of experience working in a community or
educational setting.
This position is responsible for:
a. Implementation of the recruitment and marketing plan for the Wai`anae Health
Academy.
b. Implementation of the student support program
c. Overall implementation of participant orientation sessions.
d. Providing individualized case management focused on college and financial aid
application, educational sustainability, career assessment services and linkage to
appropriate resources.
